Mr Kim from the Embassy of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) gives a message of solidarity on the 100th anniversary of the Great Socialist October Revolution.
The speech was delivered at a packed meeting hosted by the CPGB-ML in London, on 4 November 2017.
Above all, says Mr Kim, small nations seek independence, and a path to peaceful development, but everywhere a fierce struggle is being waged between the forces of reaction and progress.
Everywhere, imperialist forces are striving to dominate, subvert and exploit the masses, destroying progressive movements of the masses, and attempting to ensnare and enslave oppressed nations.
The greatest weapon we possess, says Mr Kim, is our internationalism; the unity between the anti-imperialist movements and peoples. If we achieve this unity, our victory is assured.
This is the lesson of the 1917 October Revolution in Russia.
