Today we mark the 75th anniversary of the Nakba (Disaster), when the Palestinian people were ethnically cleansed from their own homeland by zionist gangs in 1948.
Hundreds of Palestinian villages were systematically wiped out and their inhabitants either murdered or expelled from their land to live as penniless refugees.
All this in order to establish the so-called state of Israel, a racist settler-colonial entity, created to serve British and later US imperialist interests, whose very existence is rejected not only by the native peoples of Palestine but all the free peoples of the middle east and throughout the world.
Zionism is a racist, supremacist ideology that believes in the inherent racial superiority of persons with a jewish family bloodline.
Zionists believe that this supposed superiority justifies the violent seizure of Palestinian land, expulsion or murder of most of the native inhabitants, and the setting up of their own state based on apartheid-style laws that treat the remaining native Palestinians as second-class citizens discriminated against in all walks of life.
Zionism is a racist colonialist ideology, similar to nazism, and it was declared a racist ideology by the UN general assembly in 1975. The UN later reversed this stance under threats from Israel and pressure from the United States.
The Palestinians have suffered endless betrayals, from their former Arab allies, from the treacherous Gorbachevite revisionists in the former USSR, and from many of their own supposedly ‘internationally recognised’ quisling leaders.
They have withstood endless attempts to divide them based on whether they support Hamas or Fatah, whether they are muslim or of other/no religious belief, whether they reside in the West Bank, Gaza or in 1948 Israeli territories.
Despite Israeli bullets, bombs and planes, and the betrayals of so many supposed friends, the people of Palestine are as united as ever in their determination to liberate every inch of historic Palestine from the racist settler-colonial state of Israel.
All of progressive humanity, from every point of the globe, stands with them every step of the way.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!
