French greetings to our party: ‘a guiding light in the fight against capitalism’

‘Your courage and determination serve as a powerful reminder that a better world is not only possible but within our grasp.’

CPGB-ML vice-chair Joti Brar joins comrades of the PRCF at the Humanité festival outside Paris in the summer of 2023.

The CPGB-ML was founded on 3 July 2004. This month we celebrated the 20th anniversary of that event. Our comrades of the PRCF in France sent us this message of solidarity in honour of the occasion. Interestingly, we note that PRCF was also founded in the same year, as communist forces around Europe struggled to reorganise themselves following the defeats and retreats of preceding decades.

Dear comrades of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist)

It is with great enthusiasm that we extend our heartfelt congratulations on the momentous occasion of your 20th anniversary. This milestone stands as a testament to your unwavering dedication, resilience and commitment to the principles of Marxism-Leninism and the struggle for socialism in Britain.

Over the past two decades, the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) has played a pivotal role in championing the cause of the working class, advocating for socialism, and opposing imperialism in all its forms. Your tireless efforts in organising, educating and mobilising the masses have been instrumental in fostering class consciousness and solidarity among workers and oppressed communities.

Your steadfast adherence to the revolutionary teachings of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin has provided a guiding light in the fight against capitalism and its inherent injustices. Through periods of both triumph and challenge, your party has remained a powerful voice for the downtrodden and disenfranchised.

As you celebrate this significant anniversary, it is important to reflect on the achievements and progress made, while also recognising the work that lies ahead. The struggle for a socialist future is ongoing, and your commitment to this cause continues to inspire and galvanise new generations of revolutionaries.

Working class from both sides of the Channel need a strong communist party.

May the next twenty years be marked by even greater victories and advancements towards the establishment of a society free from exploitation and oppression. Your courage and determination serve as a powerful reminder that a better world is not only possible but within our grasp.

Once again, congratulations on your 20th anniversary!
